Overview

The project aimed to design and deliver a fully customized Real Estateโ€“focused CRM built entirely inside Microsoft Dynamics 365 Sales, using only native D365 capabilities, custom tables, business rules, and Power Platform components.

The goal was to streamline data management, centralize operations, and provide an optimized user experience for property and account management.

Problem Statement:

The client previously relied on outdated workflows and manual data processes, causing:

  • Inconsistent property and account information
  • Lack of automated data flow
  • Inefficient user experience for sales and operations teams
  • Difficulty handling large datasets within standard Dynamics views
  • Limited customization in the existing CRM model

To overcome this, the client required a highly custom, industry-specific CRM inside Dynamics 365 without using external tools or third-party applications.

Objective:

  • Build a fully customized CRM within Dynamics 365 Sales, following Microsoft best practices.
  • Create dedicated modules for Properties and Accounts, tailored specifically for real estate operations.
  • Integrate with the internal Data Transfer Service (DTS) for automated data population.
  • Maintain the standard D365 UI/UX for all non-core modules.
  • Enhance performance, accessibility, and user experience while remaining fully compliant with D365 standards.

A custom Dynamics 365 solution was architected that included:

  • Custom tabs that includes Properties, Accounts, Contacts, Leads, Opportunities , etc
  • Fully optimized forms, views, and business rules
  • PCF controls for enhanced user experience
  • Secure role-based access and validations
  • Full integration with DTS for automated data population
  • All 45 CRM commands configured and functional across modules

The solution was built entirely on Dynamics 365 Sales + Power Platform, without any external systems.
